Welcome to EV Network 21 (referred to as "we", "us", "our", or "the App"). EV Network 21 provides an electric vehicle battery swap management and station network application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application (Package Name: com.evnetwork21app.app) and related services.

1. Information We Collect

When you register and use the EV Network 21 application, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account & Contact Information: Name, phone number, email address, password hash, and assigned Rider / Operator ID.
• Identity & KYC Information: Government-issued identity documents (such as Driving License, Aadhaar, or Voter ID), photographs, and DigiLocker verification metadata required for regulatory compliance and vehicle battery allocation.
• Real-Time Location Data: Precise (GPS) and approximate location data collected when the app is in use to help you find nearby battery swapping stations, estimate travel distances, and navigate to stations.
• Camera & Photo Library Access:
  • Camera: Used strictly to scan QR codes on swap stations and batteries, and to capture KYC identity documents.
  • Photo Library: Used strictly when you choose to upload KYC documents or profile pictures.
• Transaction & Swap Records: Battery swap logs, battery state-of-charge (SoC), station interaction timestamps, and wallet transaction history.
• Device & Diagnostic Data: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and crash logs for system security and reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:

• To authenticate and manage your user account (Rider, Operator, or Administrator).
• To process battery swaps securely using cryptographic QR verification.
• To display real-time availability of swap stations and guide you to the nearest hub.
• To perform KYC verification and prevent identity theft or vehicle theft.
• To manage wallet balances and process subscription/swap payments via authorized payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay).
• To send operational updates, swap receipts, low-battery alerts, and critical security notices.

3. Location Information

The EV Network 21 app collects location data to enable the Nearby Swap Stations discovery and navigation features even when the app is in foreground use. We do not track your location in the background when the app is closed unless explicitly required for active navigation sessions. Location data is never shared with third-party advertisers.

4. Third-Party Services & Integrations

We integrate with trusted third-party service providers to deliver our core features:

• Google Maps Platform: For station map rendering and geolocation services.
• Payment Gateways (e.g., Razorpay): For secure payment and wallet top-ups. We do not store full credit card numbers or banking passwords on our servers.
• DigiLocker / Verification APIs: For secure digital document verification.
• Cloud Infrastructure & Push Notifications: For encrypted data transmission and notification delivery.

5. Data Security & Storage

We implement robust administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information:

• All data transmissions are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS).
• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard salted bcrypt algorithms.
• Swap authorization tokens use time-limited HMAC-SHA256 cryptographic signatures.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as required by applicable laws (such as tax, accounting, or vehicle lease regulations).

How to Delete Your Data: You have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. You can submit an account deletion request by navigating to Profile > Settings > Request Account Deletion within the app, or by emailing us at support@evnetwork21.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Upon verification, your account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days, subject to legal compliance requirements.

7. Children's Privacy

EV Network 21 services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we can remove the information.
